Collegiate Fencing
Fencing has been growing in fame and popularity internationally as well as nationally and has been increasing steadily as a collegiate sport as well. There are many intramural clubs in colleges as well as Division I, II, and III schools. Many Division I and Division II schools may offer fencing scholarships except Ivy leagues. Several schools will also recruit based off of fencing and national standing in addition to a fencer's academic standing. Coaches work with each other to help their students meet with the College coaches for a chance for them to attend their choice university. Fencing will not always guarantee a spot at a college but it can greatly increase a student's chance of attending as an added factor to their overall student portfolio.
